Yesterday was mothers day everyone and I had a lovely day cherishing my mum. I gave my present to my mum this morning along with blueberry scones and raspberry jelly(homemade of course!), an omelet, bacon, and for drink we made some oolong tea for her which I absolutely love. Needless to say it was a delicious breakfast and a great start to our mothers day. We then hung around the house all day and ended up watching "Lady and the Tramp". Which is possibly one of the most beautifully animated movies ever, with unbelievably darling charters.
Anyways since I knew today was mothers day and we were doing a celebration at our church we attend I had to get a knew outfit (this all happened last night). I was in a rehearsal until 8:00 and so the only place where I could find a cheap dress was at forever 21(not my first choice for shopping but it would do). Luckily my sister drives super fast and we got to the mall but then came the awful pressure of trying to find a perfect dress for mothers day. I didn't want something to basic but it is just so hard to find the perfect dress in one store that would fit my price range of $20. I felt pressured and annoyed and I absolutely hate shopping when I have a time limit. I have noticed, as a girl who shops a lot, that I plan months ahead to finally get what exactly I want. I recently made a fairly large purchase spending over $300 that I had planned since December. So when the pressure is on me to find the perfect outfit for mothers day in 30 minutes it gives me anxiety!
Luckily I found a decent dress (actually outfit), its certainly not my most favourite out of my wardrobe but I'm excited that I was able to pull the whole thing off and look decent for mothers day. The price came in total to be $30.00 for a cream coloured dress, shoes, and hair accessory bows (Pictures are below).
Enough about me, how was all of yours mothers day? Leave a comment below and don;t be afraid to talk to me, I don't bit(At least not all the time ;)! Oh, I forgot to add this but the weather is absolutely gorgeous today, so glad the storms cleared up!
With a cup of love and a pint of sincerity,

OK, I know I have two pictures of myself from the behind but I absolutely love my hair, and how it looks in the picture. For a $1.50 I think it turned out pretty cute.
It's always important to check your mail!
Cat breaks are essential for my well being, especially in the middle of a fun photo session!
I think the dress is so cute! I wouldn't have thought your entire outfit is only $30. Glad you had a wonderful mother's day! I love blueberry scones! :)
